Legal Counseling
CASA provides access to proper legal counseling by professional and certified immigration, family, and foreclosure attorneys. The service is rendered by a group of dedicated volunteer attorneys. Legal counseling services are provided during evening hours, Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6-9PM by appointment only. Those interested in counseling should contact our main office and make an appointment to meet with one of the volunteer attorneys.
Legal Representation
CASA has the ability to take immigration cases and represent individuals before the Immigration Court and the Department of Homeland Security with the help of a full-time, in-house attorney. CASA’s legal representation service is affordable legal assistance in action, protecting day by day the legal rights of thousands of immigrant families that have come to settle in our diverse metropolitan community.
Requisites for Case Consultation:
- In order to be eligible for a consultation with our attorney, your court hearing appointment should be at least 30 days after your appointment at CASA. This allows the attorney to properly assess and prepare the case.
- For an appointment, please call 305-463-7468 Ext. 101 and ask for an appointment with the CASA Attorney. Make sure that you emphasize that it is primarily for legal representation.
- Bring all immigration and supporting documentation to the consultation with the attorney. If you need to cancel the appointment please call to inform us and to reschedule.
Immigration Assistance
Immigration Assistance services entails the preparation of immigration forms and guidance on the processes. This assistance is provided by a group of certified paralegals who are supervised by our in house attorney. This service is available in both our locations.
