FEES FOR SERVICE
CASA’s Legal Department offers free services to victims of domestic violence married to a citizen or resident of the USA to do a self-petition for their residency under the VAWA Act.
The fees for the rest of the legal services are established according to the economic capacity of each client. If the client or/and his/her close relatives can demonstrate a lack of income then CASA’s services are free.
In case the client does have an income, the paralegal will ask for evidence of such income. Among this evidence are Income Taxes of the previous year and or payment vouchers. With this information, the paralegal will inform you of the corresponding fee. These rates are established based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Remember that CASA wants to assist low-income families to legalize their immigration status while providing responsible services at affordable rates.
